My 90-something neighbor and his dog Foxy walk at "the farm" very early every morning, but I am more accustomed to seeing them when they step out in the evening for the last time each day.
I live in a Senior Housing project that allows pets, and it's been interesting to observe how well dogs adapt to the circumstances and abilities of their elderly humans. Foxy is not only handsome, but smart and loyal, too!
It's been a pleasure to take a break from the news of tragedies and politics for a moment and make something basic and pleasant about a good natured man and his loyal dog.
